Just Don't Call it a "Rollie"

Individuals in the world of watch collecting tend to gravitate to the styles and brands that appeal to them in similar ways that collectors of any category of “thing” do.  We like what we like, and we show our affection for our addictions. Oh, and we name our stuff. For me, nothing represents this notion better than the nicknames that Rolex collectors have bestowed upon various models of vintage and modern references in the historical catalogue of Rolex production.
